Supervising student disclosures

A supervisor's role: make sure the disclosure is complete (use the template), contributors are correctly named, and the institutional policy is followed. Inventorship is a question of fact: a supervisor who set the problem and guided the method may or may not be an inventor depending on contribution to the inventive concept. Discuss it openly; disputes later are far more expensive.

Use the community's organisation workspace: coordinators and faculty can see student submissions for their institution, missing information requests and the stage of each review.
